One of the big logs we sawed on
the LT40 the first year we had it. |
 |
We got the shed built the next
year and the LT40 seldom moved. We had all the comforts of home with log
deck and dust blower. |
 |
The first few year we had the
mill, it drew a lot of spectators. |

Mary's niece, now a biologist for
the Missouri Department of Conservation and her husband who is now a
Forestry Agent get a short course in running a Wood-Mizer. |
 |
Nothing like starting at the
bottom. |
 |
In the summer of 95, we
teamed up with another Wood-Mizer owner and put on a demo at the local
county fair. |
 |
I had to pull a slab or
two. It happens from time to time. |
 |
For two years we also had a
LT40HDG35 with 35 hp Wisconsin engine. It was fully hydraulic and made
sawing big logs a lot easier. |
 |
Another view of the LT40HDG35
Super. |
